Viruses and Antiviruses

Objectives:
At the end of the lesson the students will be able to
- identify viruses and antivirus programs
- Find advantages and disadvantages of an anti-virus
- Protect their computer against viruses
- Identify the “diseases” of their computers caused by viruses
Preparation:
computers, board, coloured chalk
Description:
Brainstorming – viruses versus anti-viruses
Debate – opinions, arguments and problem solving – each team will debate on how we find, prevent and remove a ”computer’s disease”
Assessment:
At the end of the debate we have a practical test of some anti-visrus programs aiming the computer’s security
